Puck Pieterse triumphs in national championship cyclocross

Puck Pieterse took home the national championships cyclocross, edging out Fem van Empel and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado to become the champion.
Fem van Empel led the pack at the start, with Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and Puck Pieterse close behind on the muddy track. The trio remained neck and neck for the opening laps, with no clear leader emerging.
Pieterse was able to pull ahead on the third lap, creating a 10-second lead. Van Empel attempted to catch up, but the muddy conditions made it difficult. Alvarado was close behind the leading pair.
Puck Pieterse crossed the finish line and celebrated the title. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado took the silver. Fem van Empel finished third.
