Eli Iserbyt has won the Cyclo-cross Worldcup Fayetteville. He beat Laurens Sweeck in the final sprint and took the victory.
Eli Iserbyt had a nice start, while Pim Ronhaar met with a mechanical failure and lost some crucial time in the bike change. Toon Vandebosch and Laurens Sweeck soon joined Iserbyt.
Michael Vanthourenhout joined the leading group in the fifth lap. There was not much change in the ranks for the next few laps. As the race entered its last lap, Laurens Sweeck and Eli Iserbyt battled for the top position. Iserbyt narrowly won the sprint, while Sweeck took the silver. Michael Vanthourenhout finished in third place.
