VIDEO: Julian Alaphilippe involved in car accident with team car at Brabantse Pijl

World champion Julian Alaphilippe has hit the deck at Brabantse Pijl in a crash caused by a team car. Riding through the finish line in the penultimate lap, a Cofidis rider hit one of the team cars riding through the peloton which caused several riders to fall in the group.
Alaphilippe seemed hurt, but remounted some minutes after. With the Ardennes classics in the coming weeks, it is a very bad timing for such an accident. However, more updates are to come soon.
