The GP des Kantons Aargau took place today as a warm-up for the Tour de Suisse. Thibau Nys took his first pro win at the Tour of Norway recently, and he continues a great run of form with a strong triumph at the hilly race this afternoon.
The climbs in the race formed a selection and eventually a group of 21 riders was left out to fight for the win. Despite the explosive circuit the attacks were not successful and it came down to a small group sprint, in the uphill drag to the line Nys took a strong victory, outsprinting Marc Hirschi and Pello Bilbao.
