Amy Pieters is moving with her recovery, albeit at a slow pace. The former Dutch Road Race national champion has suffered a life-changing training accident in December and has for several months been in a coma. She's since regained consciousness, and has slowly been rehabilitating.
Her team, Team SD Worx have have set up a crowdfunding campaign for Pieters' recovery. Her medical treatments are very expensive and any help towards her recovery into normal life is important.
