Profile. On the 3rd of August 2024 the men's road cycling peloton takes on the Olympic Games. It is in Paris that the event will take place and the route fits the likings of many riders and the sport's biggest figures.
The race will take place in and around Paris for a whole 273 kilometers. A very long day on the bike packed with small climbs all throughout, reminiscent of a spring classic. It will be that kind of rider that it'll suit the most, endurance will be key, and alongside a few very explosive sections, the peloton will then find a final circuit with two laps that have three ascents each. The last one of which is 1 kilometer at 6.5%. The final 10 kilometers will be flat and will decide the new Olympic champion.
