Jasper Philipsen sprints to victory in Paris–Bourges

Jasper Philipsen has won the Paris–Bourges. He was the fastest among his rivals in the final sprint and secured the victory. This is his 9th victory of the season.
The breakaway consisted of three riders only, Jonathan Couanon, Stefan Bissegger and Otto Vergaerde. The trio worked together to create a gap of more than 6 minutes and 50 seconds.

The breakaway was caught 52 kilometers before the finish line. In a chaotic sprint , Jasper Philipsen came out on top and took the victory followed by Arnaud Démare. Bryan Coquard finished third.
