Jai Hindley a late withdrawal from La Fleche Wallone due to respiratory infection

Reigning Giro d'Italia winner Jai Hindley will not take to the start line at La Fleche Wallone. The 26-year-old is a last-minute withdrawal due to a respiratory infection.
According to an official update posted to the BORA - hansgrohe Twitter page, "Unfortunately, Jai Hindley will not start today due to an upper respiratory tract infection," the post reads. "Heal up soon, Jai."
With the Australian absent, BORA - hansgrohe have opted against calling up a late replacement, instead they begin the race with just six riders.
