Damien Howson takes victory ahead of Vincenzo Albanese on stage one of the Vuelta a Asturias

Stage one of the 2023 Vuelta a Asturias has been won by Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team rider Damien Howson. The Australian taking the win ahead of Vincenzo Albanese and Roger Adriá.
On an up-and-down days racing it was the 31-year-old Howson who would the opening stage win for his Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team and the overall race leader of course also.
